Looking, Seeing, Living and Sharing: Some Recent Media Work Cats Might Dig

While on my Eastern Cape Missions I did a bit of this and a bit of that. In addition I managed to do some rad media features. The real gems I will be busting out in a little while but for now here is a nice taste.....
O' and by the way, the 'Following Lines' feature I did for Life the Life made it to number one and number two on Alltop. Basically the number 1 and 2 Surf feature in the world, for all major online media, at that time. Chew On That Boyz!!!

Feature Article On German Graffiti Artist Loomit In Multumesc Culture Mag

I was recently asked by a youth culture magazine in Hungry for photographs of German 3D Graffiti Pioneer Loomit. They needed images for use in a feature/article they were doing on him. Loomit is one of the international graffiti artists featured in my book in addition to being one of the few artist selected for the 'Art In The Streets' museum survey exhibition at the MOCA Los Angeles.

Gazelle - Some African Lick (Interview on Mahala)

I shot images of South African music giants Gazelle at a few of their recent shows. They are back in SA doing gigs and working on new Afro-funk-house-pop material. Mahala's Andy Davis sat down with the main Gazelle duo, Xander Farreira and Nick Matthews aka DJ Invisible, and got them to tell it like it is, was, and what will be Gazelle.....

Never had a chance to get down with Gazelle? Go have yourself a listen at

Enjoy-

Here are a few of the images I was amped on-

SIX 2010 Tattoo Convention- Feature/Article in My Culture Mag

A while back I did a feature for My Culture Mag about the 2010 Southern Ink Xposure or SIX Tattoo Convention held in Cape Town, South Africa. I wrote an article (which I think was one of the better things I had written in ruffly the whole 6 months prior) as well as sent them a batch of top class images from the different 3 rolls of film I had taken during the week of mayhem. If you are keen for a decent read or into tattoos at all, maybe even just looking for something interesting click the link below and check out the article.... enjoy-
